Xbox Game Pass: the games for the month of October revealed
Hello everyone, hello to all here Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Like every month at the same time, I will talk to you about the new games that will arrive in the Xbox Game Pass for this month of October 2023.
The heirs of the batman
The batman is no more, and Commissioner Gordon has met the same grim fate. It was all it took for the city of Gotham City to fall into a dark period. Criminals of all kinds are savagely sharing a very tempting pie.
This was without counting on the heirs of the dark knight. Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Redhood will have to unite their forces to save what can still be saved and take back the city from the hands of the most dangerous criminals in the universe like Mister Freeze, Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot, Harley Quinn, not forgetting The Court of Owls.
The game developed by WB Games Montreal was released on October 21, 2022. It took less than a year to arrive on the American firm's gaming service. In all honesty, I still haven't played the game, but its arrival in the Game Pass is the perfect opportunity for me to discover it.
Your builder's soul will have to "wait" again
I was among those who were very enthusiastic, not to say impatient, to finally discover a game that promised to be a real little gem. Unfortunately, it will not be the case as the arrival on the Xbox Game Pass of the highly coveted Cities Skylines 2 has been postponed to a later date. Announced in March 2023 for a release scheduled for October 24, everything was ready for the arrival of this new opus but... But as often in the video game industry, what is true on Monday is not necessarily true the next day. Without a precise deadline, the only thing I can tell you without taking too much risk is that the game should probably arrive on consoles and therefore on the Game Pass in spring 2024. I confess a hint of disappointment, but I know that you, like me, will be very happy to play other games already present on Microsoft's cloud gaming service.
Mineko's Night Market
This name might not mean anything to you, but here we have a real little gem. Mineko's Night Market is a game that highlights Japanese culture. Poetic with one of the most meticulous art directions, let yourself be taken on an adventure you won't regret but also, and above all, one you will remember for a long time.
The reviews of the game are rave and unanimous. Still hesitating? Its arrival in the Xbox Game Pass should be the ultimate incentive because what better way to discover a game than its free access? I invite all of you to discover this magnificent ode to adventure, friendship, tradition, and cats — lots of cats. A bit too much cat? You'll find out starting October 26, 2023.
Jusant
Jusant is a platform video game, developed and published by Don't Nod in which you play a solitary wanderer as he climbs an isolated tower filled with artifacts from past civilizations. The game will be released on October 31, 2023, and will arrive Day One on Xbox Game Pass.
I am very eager to test this game that has caught my eye since I discovered it at the Xbox Showcase last June. This adventure mixes action, climbing, puzzles, and reflection. Needless to say, long hours of gameplay await us to hope to reach the top of a story that already promises to be very original.
