Even though the players of Call of Duty are having fun on Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and continue to compete on Call of Duty: Warzone, there is no doubt that all eyes are on the future. More precisely, everyone is waiting for next October 23 to discover the next installment of the franchise, namely Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Although Activision has officially presented this new opus, we are not immune to a few surprises, like the announcement of a collaboration with Aston Martin for the creation of an SUV specifically designed for the game.
British expertise in the service of modern warfare
When you think of Aston Martin, you quickly visualize some of the emblematic models of the British manufacturer that came into being in 1913. And for good reason, several of its cars have shone in the cinematic adaptations of the James Bond franchise. How can one not remember the Aston Martin DB5 present in Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Skyfall, Spectre, or No Time to Die? How can one overlook the seductive curves of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage from The Living Daylights? How can one not succumb to the irresistible charm of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from Die Another Day? The English manufacturer is a staple in the automotive world and also stands out in several video games, starting with the video game adaptations of the James Bond saga.
This time, it goes even further by partnering with Activision to create a brand-new vehicle designed primarily for fans of the Call of Duty franchise. More precisely, the Aston Martin design team worked with Infinity Ward, the studio in charge of the new game, to design the Dreadnought. Forget cars designed for espionage, this time it's an SUV with aggressive lines that will allow you to dominate all terrains in CoD Modern Warfare 4. And for good reason, it boasts performance worthy of a supercar, while incorporating several state-of-the-art armor technologies. Look at its appearance, it inspires confidence, determination. Marek Reichman, the Chief Creative Officer at Aston Martin, states that "the Dreadnought is undeniably an Aston Martin pushed to the extreme, without any restraint." The iconic "Chiltern Green" paint color of the brand is even present.
Moreover, fans of the franchise who purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 won't have to wait long to try it. The vehicle will be present from the launch in the DMZ mode. It will also be part of CoD Warzone. That's not all, not content with creating a brand-new vehicle in digital version, Aston Martin has worked on a full-size physical reproduction. The latter is presented from today at the Fanatics Fest NYC, and this, until July 19.
