Two weeks after the official deployment of the Midnight expansion and its housing system, Blizzard Entertainment invites players to dive into the first season related to the expansion in question. New raids, Delves level 8 and above, Nightmare difficulty in Prey feature, etc., it's time to see what's in store for us. In parallel with this update, the publisher has set up a special partnership as part of the 2026 edition of the charitable pet program.
A full program for this Season 1
March 3, 2026, was a very big day for all World of Warcraft players. It is indeed the date that was chosen for the launch of the housing system. This was integrated into the Midnight expansion. To recap, in broad terms, this system allows you to create your own home and furnish it according to your tastes. The homes are located in entirely peaceful neighborhoods where Alliance and Horde characters can mingle without any animosity. This revolution in the formula was just the beginning of a new chapter. This will continue to be written in the coming months. For now, we begin with the arrival of Midnight Season 1.
Everything begins today with two new raids, namely The Voidspire (normal and heroic modes, and Raid Finder Wing 1) and The Dreamrift (normal and heroic modes, Raid Finder Wing). The new Prey feature gets a Nightmare difficulty. Those who wish can also embark on heroic and mythic 0 dungeons, with a daily reset for the latter, in addition to discovering the first season of Delves level 8 and above. As for the bravest among us, they are invited to face four new world bosses. Prepare to stand up to Lu'ashal, Thorm'Belan, Predaxas, and Cragpine. The first is found in the Eversong Woods, the second is located in Harandar, the third roams the wilds of the Voidstorm, while the last, located in Zul'Aman, has awakened to defend his glade.
The following week, starting March 24, the Mythic+ Keystones will be available, in addition to the Darkway Delve. Of course, two other raids will be part of it, namely Voidspire (mythic and story modes, and Raid Finder Wing 2) and Dreamrift in mythic mode. Then, you will have to wait until March 31 to discover the Parhelion Plaza Delve on the Isle of Quel'Danas. Again, it will be possible to participate in two new Raids: Voidspire (Raid Finder Wing 3) and March on Quel'Danas in normal, heroic, and mythic modes. Finally, on April 7, we will embark on the Raid March on Quel'Danas in Raid Finder and story modes.
A dog for a good cause
Video games may be entertainment, but that doesn't prevent working for a good cause, especially when benefiting from a huge community. Blizzard Entertainment has therefore decided this year to partner with Habitat For Humanity as part of the 2026 edition of the charitable pet program. Specifically, the studio invites you to purchase the Roofus pack offered at 20€.
Thus, on one side, you get an adorable handyman dog that can accompany you on your WoW adventures, also in the Classic version. Additionally, the pack includes a customizable kennel, a bedding and a bowl for the animal to place in your home to warmly welcome it into your household.
On the other hand, Blizzard donates 100% of the purchase price (excluding operational costs and taxes) to Habitat for Humanity. To make you fall for it with a "super cute" look, a presentation video of the pack has been released. Enough to push you to purchase before May 12, 2026, the end date of the operation?
