Hello everyone, hello everyone here Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Let's take a look at the future of the series with the next installment of Assassin's Creed: codename "RED".
Since its creation, the Assassin's Creed franchise has taken players all over the world. From Greece to ancient Egypt, from London to revolutionary Paris. But after all these years of using the Animus to travel to these distant periods, many fans have been asking to visit just one place: feudal Japan. It took 15 years after the beginning of the saga to see this dream come true. Why wait so many years? According to Marc-Alexis Côté (executive producer at Ubisoft), the desire to offer an installment in Japan is not new. But not everything was in place for it to happen. Technically, first. The studios wanted to be sure they could offer the best possible experience. Although it is still too early for Marc-Alexis to reveal more about this "RED" project, the future of Assassin's Creed looks "bright" according to him.
Assassin's Creed X Netflix
While the development of "RED" is a priority for Ubisoft, they are not stopping there. Remember in October 2020, the streaming platform Netflix announced the arrival of a series about the Assassin's guild. Although very little information has been released since and the hype has somewhat died down, many fans of the saga are eagerly awaiting this new format. I hope to be able to get back to you in early 2024 to provide new information.
That's all for today, but we'll be back very soon for a new gaming news bulletin. This was Quill wishing you a good day in Metropolis.
