Hello everyone, hello everyone, this is Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your Gaming news bulletin. Let's focus today on a franchise that is about to make its big comeback: Assassin's Creed.

Named Mirage, this new installment is, according to its developers, a true return to the roots to properly celebrate the fifteen years of the license.

What we know

Let's, if you will, make a list of things that seem confirmed today.

The game is expected to be "smaller" than some of its predecessors. A choice allowing developers to focus on attention to detail. The latest images revealed by Ubisoft showing the city of Baghdad look amazing.

We also know that the plot will focus on a character named Basim Ibn Ishaq. He is a master assassin from the Abbasid Caliphate.

On the gameplay side, it was during the last Ubisoft Forward that players from all walks of life were able to discover the new ability: Assassin Focus. While many were quite skeptical about it, it must be recognized that it remains a rather unexpected addition, but above all, it allows Mirage to stand out.

The return to the roots

As I mentioned earlier, this Assassin's Creed: Mirage aims to return to the fundamentals that made the license's glory days. With this intention, Ubisoft wants to reconnect with the early fans but also attract new players. However, it's in the narrative that this new installment aims to be the most ambitious. The plot will develop around the choices you make. On the gameplay side, Mirage will focus on parkour, which is, once again according to its developers, very intuitive and easy to master. Stealth will also be emphasized, but we already suspected that.

A collector's edition at a high price

As with every episode, a collector's edition will accompany the game's release. This will include, in addition to the game, a figurine, the OST in CD version, a dedicated steelbook, and a map of the game. However, you will need to spend 149.98 euros.

There is no doubt that this new installment is eagerly awaited by fans of the license. The anticipation is slowly building, and the days separating us from the release of this much-coveted "Mirage" are decreasing. Just like you, I am very excited to discover it.

That's all for today, but we'll be back soon for a new gaming news bulletin. This was Quill wishing you a good day in Metropolis.
