Since the announcement of Assassin's Creed Shadows, excitement is at its peak. And for good reason, this new installment of the franchise will allow us to explore feudal Japan. It was the wish of a large part of the community for several years and, on November 15, this fantasy will become reality alongside Naoe and Yasuke.
Sit back and enjoy the journey
Beyond representing a true journey between reality and fiction, the Assassin's Creed franchise has always allowed us to appreciate new places. Acre, Venice, Boston, the Caribbean, Paris, London, Egypt, Greece, etc., the series offers real escapism. To highlight the beauty of feudal Japan represented in this Assassin's Creed Shadows, Ubisoft has unveiled a trailer of nearly two minutes. This allows us to appreciate the diversity of environments, from small villages to mountainous landscapes, and their beauty. It is also an opportunity to see how the evolution of seasons and weather conditions will impact this diversity. Rain, snow, cherry blossoms, waterfalls, bodies of water, varying lights, these are some elements that will bring real added value, at least visually. The best thing is still to watch the video to appreciate the work of the development teams. As a bonus, for total immersion, we invite you to plug in your headphones and turn up the volume to enjoy the ambient sounds or all the musical tones that already transport us.
Finally, let's remember that this installment will allow you to play as Naoe, a shinobi relying entirely on stealth, and Yasuke, a samurai who will use his strength to defeat enemies or break down armored doors. It will be possible to switch from one to the other throughout the adventure, thus allowing everyone to choose the gameplay style that suits them best. Each character will have their strengths and weaknesses.
